Product Information

Name:
Mogroside IIe
Description:

Mogroside IIe is a terpene that is found in the leaves of Glycyrrhiza uralensis. It has been used to treat tissue culture and has been shown to specifically inhibit the growth of 3t3-l1 preadipocytes. Mogroside IIe also inhibits creatine kinase, an enzyme involved in the production of energy, and eluting enzymes, which are involved in digestion. This compound also has antioxidant properties and has been shown to inhibit lipid accumulation. The cytosolic calcium levels were increased by mogroside IIe treatment, as well as NADP-cytochrome P450 reductase activity, which is essential for detoxification enzymes. Mogroside IIe also showed an increase in response element binding protein (REBP) levels, which regulate gene expression related to fatty acid metabolism.
