Product Information

Name:
Ikarisoside F
Synonyms:
  • 4H-1-Benzopyran-4-one,3-[(6-deoxy-2-O-b-D-xylopyranosyl-a-L-mannopyranosyl)oxy]-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-8-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-
  • Icarisoside F
Description:

Ikarisoside F is a flavonoid glycoside that is found in the leaves of Brevicornum koreanum. Ikarisoside F has been shown to inhibit the activity of phosphatase, which is an enzyme that breaks down adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This leads to high levels of ATP in cells, which may have a number of effects such as increased cell proliferation and inhibition of apoptosis. Ikarisoside F also inhibits the nuclear factor-κB ligand and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) with a molecular weight of about 520 Da. These properties make this compound a potential candidate for cancer treatment.
