Product Information
BD-1047 is a potent and selective antagonist of the neurokinin 1 receptor (NK1R). It has been shown to inhibit the growth of lymphatic vessels in CD-1 mice. BD-1047 also has an inhibitory effect on mesenteric microglia, which are cells that have a role in the immune response. BD-1047 inhibits the release of growth factors from these cells and reduces the diameter of vessels, both in vivo and ex vivo. BD-1047 also binds to receptors for serotonin and n-nitro-l-arginine methyl ester, leading to inhibition of serotonin reuptake. In addition, BD-1047 inhibits rat striatal dopamine uptake.
