Product Information
N-methylpiperazine-1-carboxamide is a reductive amination agent that has been shown to be an efficient inhibitor of the kinase family. It is used as a cross-coupling reagent for the synthesis of various heterocycles due to its ability to form an aldehyde. N-methylpiperazine-1-carboxamide reduces the amine group of aminothiazole and piperazine, forming a chloropyridine. The chloropyridine then couples with an aldehyde in the presence of a reducing agent such as sodium borohydride or lithium aluminum hydride, yielding the desired product.
