Description:
Deleobuvir is a potent and selective inhibitor of the Kv1.3 voltage-gated potassium channel, which is activated in response to membrane depolarization. Deleobuvir inhibits the activation of this channel by blocking the binding of its activator peptide, Kv1.3-activating peptide (KAP). Deleobuvir has been shown to be effective in inhibiting the growth of cells that express this receptor, such as tumor cells.
