Description:PBTTT-c14 is a polymer film with an optical property that can be manipulated by changing the solution temperature. It is made from poly(benzobisoxazole) (PBI) and zirconium oxide nanoparticles, which are mixed with chlorobenzene and oriented in a thin film. The PBI enhances the light transmission of the film, which is dependent on polymer concentration. This polymer film has been shown to be processable into nanowires and to function as transistors. These properties make PBTTT-c14 an excellent candidate for use in microscopy and x-ray imaging.
