MMG-11 has been shown to bind to toll-like receptor (TLR) 4, TLR2, TLR3, and TLR9 with moderate affinity. It also interacts with TNF-α and IL-6. MMG-11 has been shown to be active against a number of bacteria including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and Escherichia coli. The synergistic effects of MMG-11 with Pam3CSK4 have also been demonstrated in vitro. This compound is synthetically available.
