3,4-Di-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-(3,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-2-deoxy-2-phthalimido-b-D-glucopyranosyl)-a-D -mannopyranosyl trichloroacetimidate is a fluorinated monosaccharide that is synthesized by the glycosylation of 2,6 di O-(3,4,6 tri O acetyl 2 deoxy 2 phthalimido b D glucopyranosyl) a D mannopyranosyl chloride with 3,4 di O benzyl 2 chloroacetimidate. The complex carbohydrate has been modified with methylation and click chemistry. It has been shown to be active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium complex.
