Mogroside IV is a type of mogroside that belongs to the family of terpenes. It has been shown to have an hypoglycemic effect and can be used as a sweetener. Mogroside IV activates the AMPK pathway and may be a potential activator for other AMPK activators. It also has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in skin tumor formation. It is unclear how Mogroside IV achieves these effects, but it may be due to its activating the Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2).
