The structural analysis of this inhibitor has shown that it forms hydrogen bonding interactions with basic proteins, while its reactivity is mainly dependent on Michaelis–Menten kinetics. The inhibitor also inhibits enzyme activities by binding to their active sites, reducing the enzyme's ability to catalyze reactions.
