Description

N4-Acetyl-5'-O-DMT-2'-O-methylcytidine 3'-CE phosphoramidite is a novel nucleoside, which is modified with a acetyl group and an O-methylation at the 2' position. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest. N4-Acetyl-5'-O-DMT-2'-O-methylcytidine 3'-CE phosphoramidite also has antiviral activity against HIV and can be used to activate transcription from RNA polymerase II promoters.
