N-Acetyl-2'-O-[(tert-butyl)dimethylsilyl]-5'-O-DMT-6'-O-methylguanosine-3'-CE phosphoramidite is a nucleoside and nucleotide analog. It is synthesized by reacting 2'-deoxyguanosine with acetyl chloride, 5'-dimethoxytrityl chloride, and 3'-Ce phosphoramidite in an organic solvent. N-Acetyl-2'-O-[(tert-butyl)dimethylsilyl]-5'-O-DMT-6'-O-methylguanosine has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and viruses in cell culture studies. It is also a potent inhibitor of HIV replication in vitro.
