N-Acetyl-2'-O-[(tert-butyl)dimethylsilyl]-5'-O-DMT-6'-O-methylguanosine has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and viruses in cell culture studies. It is also a potent inhibitor of HIV replication in vitro.
