Description:
N,N,N',N'-Tetrakis(2-methylpropyl)propanediamide (TPDA) is a hexavalent diamide that has been used as a catalyst in organic synthesis. TPDA has shown to be an effective catalyst for the Diels-Alder reaction of 2,3-dimethylbutadiene with maleic anhydride. TPDA is also useful in the synthesis of polymers such as polyurethane and polyimides.
