Description:Todralazine is a potassium dichromate salt that is used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Todralazine is an anti-inflammatory drug and has been shown to reduce the production of cytokines, such as IL-1β and IL-6, in human serum. Todralazine also inhibits genotoxic activity by suppressing reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. Todralazine may be able to stabilize chemical reactions, which can be useful in biocompatible polymers. It has been shown to be effective in congestive heart failure; however, it can cause bowel disease if taken long term.
