PAMP (human) is a peptide that binds to the G-protein coupled receptor, M3. It activates the ion channel and induces an influx of calcium ions into cells. This can lead to cell proliferation and differentiation, as well as increased blood flow in the brain. PAMP has been shown to inhibit ligand-induced activation of M3 receptors by competing with the natural ligands for binding sites on these receptors. It has also been shown to have high purity (>95%), and is currently under research for its use in various medical applications such as cancer therapy, pain management, and treatment of respiratory diseases.
