Description:
Citric acid isopropyl ester is a non-polar solvent that is used in the preparation of diagnostic, citric, and biological samples. It can also be used to extract fatty acids from hydrochloric acid and carotenoids from hydroxide solution. Citric acid isopropyl ester has been shown to have microbicidal properties against Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus. It can also be used as a biodiesel.
