CGRP (Human, 8-37) is a peptide derived from the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) that is found in the nervous system and other tissues in humans. It is a truncated form of the full-length CGRP peptide, consisting of the last 30 amino acids of the CGRP sequence (amino acids 8-37).
CGRP is a potent vasodilator and plays a key role in regulating blood flow and blood pressure. It is also involved in pain perception, inflammation, and neurogenic inflammation.
