Description

2'-Deoxy-5'-O-DMT-nebularine 3'-CE phosphoramidite is an anticancer agent that is used in the treatment of leukemia. It inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis, leading to cell death by inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division. 2'-Deoxy-5'-O-DMT-nebularine 3'-CE phosphoramidite has been shown to be effective against leukemia cells that are resistant to other anticancer drugs such as 5FU. This drug has also been found to be a novel activator of caspase 3, which may be useful in apoptosis induction.
