3'-Deoxy-N2-DMF-5'-O-DMT-guanosine 2'-CE phosphoramidite is a novel nucleoside, which is structurally similar to cytidine and has been synthesized for the first time. 3'-Deoxy-N2-DMF-5'-O-DMT-guanosine 2'-CE phosphoramidite has antiviral and anticancer activities. It inhibits the growth of viruses by inhibiting DNA synthesis. 3'-Deoxy-N2-DMF-5'-O-DMT-guanosine 2'-CE phosphoramidite also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting RNA synthesis.
