Ethyl cis-2-aminocyclopentanecarboxylate is a solvent mixture that is used as a kinetic and lipase inhibitor. It is also used as an intermediate for the synthesis of tert-butyl methyl ether, which can be used as a solvent mixture. This product has been shown to inhibit the growth of pseudomonas and cepacia. The enantiomeric purity of this product is about 99%.
