4-(N,N-Dimethylsulfamoyl)-7-piperazino-benzofurazan (4DMSBF) is a chromatographic stationary phase for HPLC. It is characterized by its reversed-phase high performance and its ability to separate nonpolar compounds. 4DMSBF has been used in the analysis of fatty acids and amides, as well as for the detection of primary amino groups. This column can be used in conjunction with other analytical methods such as GC and LC/MS. The reversed phase of this stationary phase provides a greater separation efficiency than traditional reverse phases, which enables it to be used for analysis of more polar compounds such as fatty acids and amides.
