Clerodenoside A is a phenylpropanoid glucoside that belongs to the verbascoside class of flavones. It has been found in Lippia canescens and Lippia verbenaceae. Clerodenoside A has shown anticancer activity against murine melanoma cells and has cytotoxic effects on these cells by inducing apoptosis.
