Des-n-Octanoyl-[Ser3]-Ghrelin (Human, Rat, 1-10) is a non-Acylated analog of Ghrelin (Human, 1-10). Ghrelin, a peptide hormone that regulates feeding behavior. It has been shown to increase food intake and body weight in rats and stimulates the release of growth hormone from the anterior pituitary. The Ghrelin peptide also increases insulin secretion.
