Product Information
17-Hydroxy-17-(1-propyn-1-yl)estra-4,9-dien-3-one is a synthetic peptide that is a potent inhibitor of the protein interactions of the follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR). The molecular structure of 17OHPED is similar to that of GnRH, and it is an agonist at the FSHR. 17OHPED has been shown to activate LHRH release in vitro and in vivo with large potency. It has also been shown to be a highly potent inhibitor of FSHR binding to its ligand, FSH. This compound can be used as a research tool for studying the interaction between proteins.
