It is used in the treatment of chronic sinusitis and nasal allergy. N-(2-(2-((3-Fluorophenyl)imino)-4-(4-morpholin-4-ylphenyl)-1,3-thiazol-3 (2H)-yl)ethyl)-N'-methylurea has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain bacteria, such as Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae, which can cause infections in the upper respiratory tract. This drug also increases mucus production and prevents inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis.
