10-O-[1-Propyl-3-N-carbamoylcholesteryl]-TEG-CE phosphoramidite is a novel, modified, and activator nucleoside. It is synthesized by the action of 10-O-[1-propyl-3-N-carbamoylcholesteryl]-TEG on 1,3'-diisopropylcarbodiimide and ethylene diamine in the presence of pyridine as catalyst. The compound is an antiviral agent that activates viral RNA replication. It also inhibits DNA synthesis, which leads to inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. 10-O-[1-Propyl-3-N-carbamoylcholesteryl]-TEG can be used for the treatment of various cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. It has been shown to have high purity and high quality.
