• Description: The BAD peptide is a synthetic fragment derived from the BAD protein (Bcl-2-associated death promoter), a pro-apoptotic member of the BH3-only family within the larger Bcl-2 family of proteins. The BAD peptide typically contains the BH3 domain of the BAD protein, which is crucial for its role in promoting apoptosis by interacting with anti-apoptotic proteins such as Bcl-2 and Bcl-xL.
