Product Information
JNK3 Inhibitor XII is a small molecule inhibitor of c-Jun N-terminal kinase 3 (JNK3) and has been shown to suppress the proliferation of tumor cells in vitro. JNK3 Inhibitor XII inhibits cell proliferation by activating endogenous retroviruses, which are DNA sequences that are present in all human cells. The retroviral gene products can inhibit cell division and induce apoptosis. In addition, JNK3 Inhibitor XII has been shown to dampen the activation of FoxM1, a transcription factor that stimulates cancer cell growth. This compound also activates endogenous sequences that are expressed across populations and may be involved in regulating pluripotent stem cells or heart disease.
