Leflunomide-d4 is a potent inhibitor of protein interactions, which has been used as a research tool to study the effects of peptides on ion channels. Leflunomide-d4 binds to peptides and interacts with them in vitro. This inhibition can be reversed by adding a specific ligand that competes with the binding site.
