Description

2,2'-Methylenebis(6-bromo-4-chlorophenol) is an antibacterial agent that belongs to the group of biocides. It has been shown to be effective against many bacterial species and is used in pharmaceutical preparations. 2,2'-Methylenebis(6-bromo-4-chlorophenol) is active against Gram positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes, but not against Gram negative bacteria like Enterobacteriaceae.
