Product Information
Cerbinal is a dietary supplement derived from the root of Gardenia jasminoides. It has been shown to have antiviral activity against viruses such as herpes, influenza, and HIV. Cerbinal contains asperulosidic acid, which is the active ingredient in this supplement. Asperulosidic acid has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of viral DNA by binding to its replication enzymes and preventing them from interacting with their substrate. This prevents the formation of new viral DNA and thus inhibits viral replication.
