Product Information
Peucedanol 7-O-glucoside is a natural product that is isolated from the root of Peucedanum japonicum. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects in mice. Peucedanol 7-O-glucoside binds to the G protein coupled receptor 43 (GPR43) and induces the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in macrophages. This compound also inhibits the production of proinflammatory mediators such as nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNFα), interleukin 6 (IL6), and IL1β by inhibiting nuclear factor kappa B (NFκB).
