Bosutinib has been shown to have anti-cancer properties by inhibiting the growth of cancer cells in preclinical models. Bosutinib also inhibits epidermal growth factor (EGF) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Bosutinib has been shown to have clinical benefit in patients with subcutaneous tumors, glioma, and other cancers. Bosutinib has not been evaluated in pregnant women or children and should be used only if potential benefits outweigh risks.
