Description:3-(Piperidin-4-yl)propanamide (3PPPA) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent that binds to the cyclooxygenase enzyme, leading to the inhibition of prostaglandins and thromboxanes. 3PPPA has been shown to be effective in treating tumors in mice and has antitumor activity. In addition, 3PPPA has been shown to inhibit metastases in mice by inhibiting tumor cell adhesion to endothelial cells. However, it is not clear whether 3PPPA binds directly to the cyclooxygenase enzyme or interacts with other proteins.br>br>
