Hh Signaling Antagonist VII, JK184 is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primer that was designed to detect the Hh signaling pathway in muscle cells. It has been shown to be effective in treating muscle diseases such as muscular dystrophy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The Hh signaling antagonist has also been shown to promote the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into muscle cells and reduce the size of metastatic pancreatic cancer tumors by inhibiting tumor growth. This drug also has an effect on glucose regulation and diabetic neuropathy, including transcriptional regulation, cell growth, and biological function.
