Description

N-Methyl-1,3-benzothiazol-2-amine is a molecule that belongs to the class of isothiocyanates. It can be synthesized by reacting 2-chlorobenzothiazole with primary amines in the presence of a nonpolar solvent. This method is efficient and can provide high yields for this molecule. N-Methyl-1,3-benzothiazol-2-amine has been shown to inhibit the uptake of pesticides by plants.
