Product Information
Pancuronium bromide related compound B is a fatty acid that is used in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. It reacts with diagnostic agents, such as enzymes and radioisotopes, to produce an image of the heart on a gamma camera or other imaging device. Pancuronium bromide related compound B is also used to diagnose cardiac arrhythmias. The half-life of this drug is terminal, which means that it can be detected in the blood for up to two weeks after administration. Pancuronium bromide related compound B binds to adrenergic receptors in the heart and slows down the heart rate by blocking calcium channels. This prevents the normal conduction of electrical impulses through the heart muscle cells and produces a slowing of heart rate and lowering of blood pressure.
