Product Information

Name:
N-Hydroxy-3-[1-(phenylthio)methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl]benzamide
Description:

N-Hydroxy-3-[1-(phenylthio)methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl]benzamide (NHTB) is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme and inhibits its activity. It is selective for class I HDACs over class II HDACs. NHTB has been shown to inhibit acetylation of α-tubulin in vitro and in vivo. The compound also inhibits proliferation of T cells from patients with cutaneous T cell lymphoma and promotes apoptosis. NHTB also has antiangiogenic effects by inhibiting proliferation of endothelial cells.
