The pharmacokinetic properties of this drug have been studied in rats and monkeys, with the results showing that it is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract into the bloodstream, with a half-life of about 2 hours. This compound also inhibits chemokine production by binding to the chemokine receptor.
