Product Information
Probucol is a natural product that can be found in soybean, peanuts, and bread. It has been shown to have antioxidative properties and inhibit the activity of enzymes such as protein kinase C, phospholipase A2, and cyclooxygenase-2. Probucol has also been shown to be effective in reducing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) events for subjects with low-dose group. The efficacy of probucol is due to its ability to reduce the formation of atherosclerotic lesions by inhibiting lipid peroxidation, inflammation, and apoptosis.
