Description:EC330 is a new generation of actuator that has been designed to increase the energy efficiency of cancer therapy. It is a molecule that, when fused with recombinant proteins, can be used as an inhibitor for growth factor receptors for leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) and mcf-7 cells. EC330 is capable of inhibiting the function of LIF through reversible binding to its receptor, which inhibits cell proliferation and promotes cell death. EC330 was shown to reduce primary tumor volume by 50% in mice models. EC330 also has potential as a contraceptive agent due to its ability to inhibit the production of progesterone by ovarian granulosa cells.
