Epieriocalyxin A
Description:

Epieriocalyxin A is a novel antimicrobial peptide isolated from the Chinese herb Epieria, which has shown significant cytotoxicity against cancer cells. Epieriocalyxin A is an antimicrobial peptide that can activate mitochondria and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. The compound also inhibits autophagy, which is an energy-dependent process that degrades damaged organelles and proteins. Epieriocalyxin A has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on human urothelial carcinoma cells and other carcinoma cell lines.
