Description:
5-Bromo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-3-carbaldehyde is a synthetic analgesic that has been shown to be as effective as indomethacin and diclofenac. It has anti-inflammatory activities and also provides analgesic effects. The compound has been shown to have a number of different molecular targets, including benzyloxyphenyl, chalcone, and indomethacin. Magnetic resonance imaging studies have shown that 5-Bromo-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-3-carbaldehyde binds to the magnetic nucleus in the brain and may have some analgesic activity by modifying the transmission of pain signals from the periphery to the brain.
