Product Information
Thalidomide 4'-ether-alkylC2-amine is a potent and selective blocker of Na+ channels. It has been shown to inhibit the activation of voltage-gated Na+ channels in rat dorsal root ganglia neurons. Thalidomide 4'-ether-alkylC2-amine also binds to the extracellular domain of the G protein coupled receptor, inhibiting the binding of ligands to this receptor. It can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and as an inhibitor for many peptides, including alpha-MSH, neuropeptide Y, substance P, calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP), and bombesin. Thalidomide 4'-ether-alkylC2-amine can also be used for purification of antibodies or cell biology experiments.
