Description

Triacetoxyethylsilane is a silicone polymer that is used as a sealant and coating for metal surfaces. It is also used as an additive to coatings, such as paints and varnishes, to improve the durability of the surface. Triacetoxyethylsilane is synthesized by reacting diazonium salt with triethoxysilane in the presence of a catalyst.
