Description:
MeO-Suc-Arg-Pro-Tyr-pNA is a peptide that is used as an enzyme substrate for chymotrypsin and other proteases. It contains the amino acid sequence of methoxy (MeO), succinyl (Suc), arginine (Arg), proline (Pro), tyrosine (Tyr) and p-nitroanilide (pNA). The MeO group on the N-terminus is important for inhibiting proteolysis by chymotrypsin. This peptide is also a substrate for chymotrypsin-like enzymes.
