Description:
2-(3,5-Diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethan-1-ol is a synthetic ligand that binds to proton receptors. It has been shown to be hypoglycemic in rats and to have hypotensive effects in rabbits. This drug also has antiarrhythmic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit platelet aggregation. 2-(3,5-Diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethan-1-ol can be used as an analytical method for the determination of chalcone and bond cleavage products in epoxide analysis.
