Ripretinib is a potent, orally bioavailable inhibitor of the tyrosine kinase activity of RET. It has been shown to be effective in treating gastrointestinal cancer and solid tumours. This drug is metabolized by cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes and interacts with other drugs that are CYP substrates. Ripretinib also inhibits the activity of other cellular factors, such as cell factor (CF), which may contribute to its antitumour effects.
