CCMI is a fatty acid that is found on the surface of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. CCMI has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on chemical pesticides and can function as a chaperone in cells. CCMI has been found to have an inhibitory effect on cell lysis due to its disulfide bond.
