Mavacamten can inhibit the caco-2 cell growth and induce apoptosis, but it does not have an inhibitory effect on cellular metabolism or on biochemical reactions. The symptoms of mavacamten are related to its ability to inhibit cardiac muscle contraction and relaxation.
